Our 3rd Cribbage tournament has now come to an end with Paul Woodman being announced as the winner! Congratulations Paul! He was closely followed by Dave Spencer taking second place.
We are ready to start again with another tournament and due to such a high demand the tournament is now being opened up to 32 players.
There is a sign up sheet in the bar and could we please ask that all newcomers attach an email address and contact numbers.
In previous tournament there has been a £5 entry fee to the 16 players, this time there will be no entry fee for the 32 player game and initial game opponents will be drawn at random. After the first game, this will leave 16 players who will be required to pay a £5 entry fee to continue in the competition and this will run as it has previously. A second draw will take place to select their opponents.
The tournament kindly donates part of the entry fee to local charities, with recent donations being made to St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
